Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Idaho and a Registered Play Therapist. I am also AutPlay certified and trained in EMDR. I have a master's degree in social work from Boise State University. I have over twelve years of experience providing support and guidance to children, teens, adults and families. I have extensive experience in family relationships and parenting, anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment disorders and more.
I believe that counseling is about collaboration, you are the expert on you, and I am here to listen and guide you. I provide an open-minded, supportive and compassionate space for you to learn more about yourself and grow into the person you desire to be. I utilize a strengths-based approach and incorporate solution-focused, cognitive -behavioral, and psychodynamic techniques to meet your needs. I will support, encourage, and empower you through this journey.
Together, we will focus on incorporating new coping skills and self-care into your daily life, strengthening your self-concept, finding your voice and empowering you to achieve your goals. Hello, I graduated from Northwest Nazarene University earning a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling. I have a passion to join people on their path to living a fulfilling, peaceful, and meaningful life. My role as a counselor is to meet clients where they are in life and empathically build a relationship where we will journey together toward their goals.
I have experience working with elementary and middle school at-risk-youth where I served as a positive role model, utilizing my passion for helping develop strong self-esteem, well-being, and community. I also have a background working with adults helping them find meaning careers where they can advance and accomplish life goals. My favorite thing about interacting with others is joining them as they discover meaning and purpose in life and find contentment and peace.
